About Dynamic Career Technical Education

Dynamic Career Technical Education, a 501(c)(3) organization, along with our affiliate Dynamic Education, is dedicated to providing first-class hands-on vocational education to schools and other organizations that work with teenagers and young adults. Our mission is to equip students with practical skills in construction trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and welding. 

We believe in the power of real-world experience, and our programs are designed to inspire and prepare the next generation for successful careers in the trades.

As being a year 2 welder I can say that welding has done me a lot of good. Throughout my first year of welding I struggled getting my welds perfect but I never gave up and I love the support I had from the instructor, Jordan Ivie. With welding I was able to try new things that I never thought I’d be able to do or experience. For example, I never thought I’d be able to work with metal in general because I thought it’d be too dangerous for a high school student. Now that I’m in year 2 welding, I love that I get to practice multiple types of welding in just one school year. I love the experience I gain from committing to this class, I can leave high school with this and make a career for myself which helps me a lot now and later.
